A Kharibdyss is a carnivorous ocean dwelling beast. Many can be found trailing under Naggaroth's western coastline and in the Boiling Sea. To the denizens of Clar Karond, a Kharibdyss is a great and powerful creature, one that only the very richest can afford to own and master. Kharidysses seldom come onto land on their own accord, it usually requires a Sorceress to charm one to do so. Once the creature crawls out from the sea, the Beastmasters set themselves to the arduous task of capturing it. The Charybdis (Χάρυβδις) was a sea monster in Ancient Greek mythology.
