The Phantom Princess was believed to be Princess Tatanova, a member of the royal family of Slivonia. The whole of the royal family, apparently including the 16 year old Princess Tatanova, were killed by the invading Germans during World War II. However, Tatanova's body was never found as her body "disappeared" through means not explained. In 1940, the Phantom Princess recruited the help of Colonel Trevor Kilgore aka: Kern'l Kilgore.
