Ensign Pauley served aboard Deep Space 9 as a science officer under Commander Benjamin Sisko. In 2369, he accompanied Jadzia Dax aboard the runabout USS Ganges for a mission into the Gamma Quadrant. While there, they came across the archaeologist Vash, who joined them on the trip back to Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Q-Less") Pauley was played by an unknown actor.
