Malcolm's magic amulet is an item that appeared in the Season 3 episode "The Noble Stag". King Gerard´s evil cousin Malcolm The Mean used this magical item to turn him into a black stag so Malcolm could chase him around the forest to kill him. His intention was to overthrow his cousin from his throne and make him a part of his animal trophies so he could make himself a king. The Smurfs took the magic amulet from Malcolm to the Smurf Village, and Papa Smurf broke the spell, turning Malcolm into a stag and King Gerard back into a human.
