R'taga was a male Klingon who served in the Empire's Defense Force in the late-24th century. By 2376, R'taga was a captain, and in April of that year participated in the allied response to the attack by rogue Jem'Hadar forces on Deep Space 9. R'taga, alongside Captain Klag, represented Klingon interests at an allied briefing help on Deep Space 9 shortly after. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book Two)
