The Chasm of Death is a large cavern located between the Jungle of Misery and the Plates of Woe in the underground Dinosaur World in the third film. It is filled with a green laughing gas that can cause death if inhaled for too long. The only way for most creatures to get through this cavern is by using the bones of dinosaurs previously killed in there hanging on vines as a cable car, however small creatures such as Saber-tooth Squirrels can simply run across the vines directly.
