The Battle of Yavin was a battle around the unidentified planet-destroying battle station during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Considered a major historical event, the battle was marked by a starfighter racing down a trench on the station will be chased by three other fighters.
