Guinevere Corey was an Earth Alliance lawyer. Corey was assigned by EarthGov to represent Captain John Sheridan in the Lavell-shooting case, in which he could have been charged with murder. Although she was Sheridan's attorney, her primary purpose was to represent the interests of Earth. She made it clear to Sheridan that whether found guilty or innocent, if the accusation led to a trial (on the station or on Minbar), he would be reassigned as commander of the station. The situation was ultimately resolved amicably to Sheridan when the truth of the shooting was revealed. Corey then returned to Earth.
