Dru-Zod (also known as "General Zod," "Commander Zod," or simply "Zod") is the main antagonist of the 2013 epic superhero movie Man of Steel, the first installment of the DC Extended Universe. He was the former leader of the Kryptonian Warrior Guild and the commander of the Sword of Rao. Eventually, he returns as the secondary antagonist in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in the form of Doomsday. He is portrayed by Michael Shannon, who also played Frankie Lombardo in Kangaroo Jack and Rick Craver in 99 Homes.
