The era of known as the Jedi Renaissance began in Year 16 at the end of the Clone Wars and lasted until Year 24 when the Jedi Order suffered from a near-schismatic breakdown. The architect of the Renaissance era, Grand Master Tomac Moorcé, drove the Order to completely redefine their culture and socio-political outlook following the end of the war and the defeat of Darth Sidious. Appointed to the Jedi High Council in the wake of Sidious' defeat, Moorcé and his newly appointed High Councilors met in secret conclave for a week as they puzzled out how to create reform that lasted. Deciding to relocate to Ossus and reopen the Temples of Tython, the High Council prioritized the arts and meditation, data collection and reflection to heal the wounds of war. Marked by an immense rise in membership
