Second Stage Turbine Blade is the opening instrumental from the album of the same name. This song would also appear as the first half of the track "Keeping the Blade". As with most instrumental interludes, this song is believed to represent a passing of time, most likely the years since the end of the previous chapter, Year of the Black Rainbow and it's closing track "The Black Rainbow."
