A GN Drive is the power source of Mobile Suits in the 'Mobile Suit Gundam 00' anime. The GN Drive can supply near- limitless power, just like the nuclear reactor used by Freedom Gundam in the 'Mobile Suit Gundam Seed' anime CMIIW. GN Drives are roughly conical in shape, and usually mounted on the Mobile Suit's back. They give off trails of glowing green particles that provide a variety of functions, from powering the Mobile Suit and its weapons to aiding in moving the suit itself. As a side-effect, they jam communications in the immediate area.
