Dan uses his own laughable version of the Shoryuken, the "Kouryuuken" (晃龍拳, lit. Dazzling Dragon Fist). It is possible that he learned this move during his brief training under Gouken. This move is similar to the motions of the Shouryuuken in general, only Dan raises his fist up in an arm-hook instead upward fully.
