Sambuk was the ruler of Pontar Delta, Arc Coast and Novigrad, one of the first human rulers on the Continent. He reigned shortly after the boats of the first humans came to the shores at the mouth of the Yaruga and the Pontar Delta. He was the founder of the first human state on the Pontar Delta and Arc Coast from which his descendant Radovid the Great created the kingdom of Redania.
