There were three teams in the league this season. The Lunenburg Falcons and the Bridgewater Hawks were senior teams eligible for the league championship. Halifax St Marys was a junior team that had no league to play in so they played in this league. The regular season was for exhibition purposes only as the Hawks and Falcons were going to meet in a playoff anyways. The schedule was cut short in February as there was a deadline for entering the regional playoffs. In the Best-of-five final, Lunenburg beat Bridgewater 3 wins to 1 and advanced to the 1952-53 Maritimes Senior Playoffs.
