North American Monkeys are a group of monkeys that evolved from old world monkeys or South American monkeys that migrated from South America/Asia to North America about 28-26 million years ago. There are about 3,800 species of this group of monkeys, with some species adapting to human environments, including cities, towns, urban, and suburb areas. They all feed on similar food to macaque species of Africa and Asia. Example Species:
