New York City based band FIRST ON THE MOON has shot to the top of the rising NY teen band scene. The band is often called the Anti-Jonas Brothers as they can really rock and perform all original music. The band was started by Layne Montgomery who grew up in Las Vegas and now attends school in NYC. Layne is the lead singer & guitarist; he wanted to work in a band composed of his closest friends. Max Miller, lead guitarist, Layne’s downstairs neighbor quickly joined; followed by schoolmate Daniel Ojeda on drums. The band was complete when Layne’s dad Todd Montgomery joined as the bass player.
