Enterprise NX-01 encountered one of these vessels after inadvertently traveling into Akronian space in 2152. (ENT: "Dawn") In the final draft script of "Dawn", this craft was referred to thus; "Although we've never seen this type of ship before, it should be reminiscent of [an Arkonian patrol ship]." This vessel was referred to by the production staff (for example, in the script) as an "Arkonian destroyer", despite being referred to as an "Arkonian military vessel" on screen.
