The Woman lived in a house that was next door to one on Stan Ogden’s old window-cleaning round that had been purchased by Vera Duckworth for a very reluctant Jack in December 1984. She told Jack that she had a window cleaner of her own when he offered his services and also that Mrs Henthorne, the occupant of the house he had just cleaned, had died the previous week, leaving him out of pocket.
