The city of Silmaria is built on various levels. It was designed as a defensable fortress in the days when wars were more common. However, the city has been a center for peace and prosperity for generations. There has been no need for an army, and it has none. However, Silmaria has the resources to withstan a siege, and had never in its history fallen to invasion.
