A spellbattle ring is a magic ring that gives its wearer the ability to dispel certain spells. Its wearer immediately becomes aware of any use of, and the nature of, magical spells, powers or psionics within 40m (120ft). He or she can then choose to dispel it or change its target. The ring also grants the wearer the ability to affect spells that were activated by a spell trigger or similar mechanism, but does not affect discharges or psionics from magic items.
