Mr. Carpenter was Nora Carpenter's husband and Tim Carpenter's father. Nora told Kimberly that Mr. Carpenter had died 4 years before the Route 23 pile-up. In Final Destination 5, a grave which listed the name "Carpenter" appeared in the graveyard during the funeral. It's possible that it was the grave of Mr. Carpenter.
