The only title issued by the fifth Canadian Golden Age comic book publisher, Feature Publications of Toronto, was Lightning Comics. This monthly title featured the unrestrained, but poorly realized, adventures of Captain Daring. Captain Daring uncovered a mad plot to take over the world by none other than General von Hindenburg. Using his super secret gyro plane, Captain Daring foils the plot and sends von Hindenburg to death. No hauling people to jail for this super-hero.
