Sir Henry Busby Bird (c.1855-17 February 1929) was a businessman, racehorse owner and politician. He was head of the firm of H B Bird & Co, Cheesemongers, and lived in Upper Clapton. He was Mayor of Shoreditch for 12 terms and was knighted in 1919. Details of a portrait here [
