Skill points in Otherspace: Millennium are used as an objective gauge of how much a character has the capacity to do. Characters themselves do not think in terms of 'skill points' or 'skill levels,' however, as this is a game they provide for a way to adjudicate scenes and scenarios. Advancement is gained from the +point command. The cost is based upon the total SP a character has. The progression is rather light until 595 skill points (the 595th skill point costs approximately 520 RPP). After that the progression becomes rather steep. The 601th skill point, for instance, costs 1000 RPP.
