The Ballad of Orange and Green was a bawdy song about the offspring of an Altasa and a Vulcan. One of the choruses contained the following lyrics: Oh, I was the strangest kiddie That you have ever seen: My mother, she was orange And my father he was green... Other lyrics were: Now my mother hated greenery, my father hated meat; and neither one would feed me what the other one would eat- In the year 2275, aboard the USS Enterprise, the ballad was sung in the recreation deck by a group of about thirty of the crew.
