"Jade Rabbits" (翡翠兎, Hisui Usagi) are rabbits native to the Land of Water and a peculiar species among all others. Due to the geographical shifts within the Land of Water, the rabbits eventually ended up using chakra as a means to part the water they were walking across, although the sheer flawlessness of the method left observers awestruck. A particular observer was Ayumu Hasugawa, who attempted to replicate their method several times but continuously failed. Eventually, he created a pseudo-replica of the same techniques, although its effect was far more generalized.
