George Auger (b. December 27, 1881-d. November 30, 1922) was a movie actor. He was also known as The Cardiff Giant. For many years he played the role of the giant in 'Jack, the Giant Killer'. He was originally chosen for the role of Colosso in the Harold Lloyd movie 'Why Worry?', but died before the filming started. He claimed his height was 8'4", but he was probably no more than 7'5".
