Sherrif Garvey is the county sherrif of the California town that Dr. Magrew lives in. He is investigating the disappearance of the local boy Matt Deary. When he discovers that Dr. Magrew murdered Matt he breaks into Magrew's home to arrest him, but Magrew orders Blade and Jester (who is wielding a small sharp object) to stab and kill him.
