Since the 2020 general elections the Democratic Party is the majority party for the 10th Congress; the party holds an outright majority in the House of Representatives and constitutes a majority in the Dacaran Senate. The Democratic Party also holds the Chancellorship with Chancellor Scott McBain being the 5th Democratic Chancellor and a member of the Democratic Party. Democrats also hold a majority of state governorships and control a plurality of state legislatures. In 2009, it was the largest political party, with 42.6 percent of 984 million registered voters claiming affiliation.
