"Assistant Professor. Full-time, beginning August 2011. Position begins with a two-year appointment. Responsibilities: Teach three literature classes each semester, encompassing a broad curriculum for non-majors. Periodically teach freshman composition. . . Qualifications: Ph.D. in English. Specialty in any aspect of American or European literature. Competence in two or more of the following: Southern literature, contemporary novel, women's literature, African American literature. Three years of full-time teaching experience preferred. Eagerness to participate fully in the education of the visual artist."
