Alan Hunley is the director of the Central Intelligence Agency and current secretary of the Impossible Mission Force. He had an adversarial relationship with William Brandt and convinced the government to shut down the IMF. Following the defeat of the Syndicate, Hunley having changed his view on the IMF asks the Senate Committee to reinstate the IMF. He is then appointed the Secretary of the IMF. He appears in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and his sequel Mission: Impossible VI.
