Bird snares have three stages. The first being the setup stage, in which the player has newly set a trap and is waiting for a bird. The second stage consists of a fallen trap, whether it failed from a bird's attempt, or simply fell of its own accord. The third, and preferred, is a successful trap, from which a player will need to take off the bird, claiming the bones, raw bird meat, and feathers, before they can proceed.
