The Orbital Defense Platform is a large based space station of the Alpha Legion that currently Orbits Earth that is used for defending strategic locations of great importance, or to protect heavily populated areas of the planet. The station are frequently placed in geosynchronous orbit and is deployed in groups or clusters and can also engage threats against the planet. The defense platform is also an civilian transportation docking station between planets in the Inner Colonies.
