Alexander Central High School was a high school situated in Taylorsville, in rural North Carolina. Ariane Binks attended ACHS after graduating from East Syracuse Kennedy Middle School; she escaped popular attention due to fencing being a minor sport. She also claimed that social life at ACHS (at least in the 25th century) was dominated by big-time sports (that is, American football and basketball) and that she graduated summa cum laude, that is, with an unweighted GPA of 3.90 and above, as well as successful completion of five Advanced Placement courses or more.
