Donna Deitch, born June 8, 1945 in San Francisco, California, USA, is a motion picture director, cinematographer, and producer. She was a director for ER and helmed the first season episode "Full Moon, Saturday Night" and the second season episode "Home". She has also worked on NYPD Blue, Murder One, Crossing Jordan, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Private Practice. She directed the film 1986 film Desert Hearts. Deitch also directed the mini-series The Women of Brewster Place.
