Lucky Sawyer is a former NASCAR driver from Baltimore, MD. He competed in ten Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Sawyer made his initial foray into the sport during the 1952 season, but it was a tough entrance for the driver. He was a meager 27th in his debut at Langhorne, but it turned out to be the best point of his season as broken radiators led Sawyer to a 19th place finish at Hillsboro and a 28th at Martinsville.
