Orvanath was a lich and a necromancer. In 1266 DR, he trapped the Bright Banner Brandished adventuring company, including the wizard Ashemmi, in a subterranean crypt north of Mirabar, where he killed them in their entirety, except for Ashemmi who escaped by using a teleport scroll. Orvanath joined the Arcane Brotherhood in Luskan.
