While boosts can be used to make the potion, it cannot be made with the assistance of others. This is by far the fastest experience for any Extreme potion, due to the stackable Grenwall spikes, which allows banking out 27 ranging potions at one time. Extreme magic potions also use a stackable secondary ingredient (ground mud runes), but they must be ground by the player, and only give 250 herblore experience.
