Hiruma Tatsuya during the Dragon-Crab War led a Crab army, crossing Beiden Pass in 441 and engaging the combined forces of the Lion and the Dragon Clans. In the fight died the Lion leader, Matsu Masaru. Command was taken by his sister, Matsu Hitomi, and Tatsuya was defeated. He withdrew and returned back through the pass, but Tatsuya was chased and eventually sued for peace.
