Satak was a Starfleet officer, the captain of the USS Intrepid. He and the rest of the Intrepid crew, all of whom were Vulcans, were killed when the vessel was destroyed by a massive spacegoing amoeba-like creature. (TOS episode: "The Immunity Syndrome") In the alternate timeline of Miri's World, Satak was a commander in the Vulcan High Command and the commanding officer of the VHC Muroc. When the Muroc happened upon the regular timeline's USS Enterprise, Satak threatened to destroy the vessel, as he had no knowledge of humans or the Federation. (DTI novel: Forgotten History)
