HRT 1 (popularly called Prvi program, formerly known as RTZ 1), is the main TV channel in Croatia, operated by the Croatian Radiotelevision, first aired on March 15th, 1956. Its program varies from news, documentaries and talk shows to series and movies. Most culturally important international broadcasts are transmitted through HRT 1 in Croatia, such as the Vienna New Year's Concert or Urbi et orbi.
