Yes. The creators have expressed a desire to explore further adventures in the setting they've developed, however they have confirmed there will be no more television episodes. Any additional Avatar material will be released in the form of books or comics primarily (they have yet to comment on the potential for animated movies to my knowledge). There will be a trilogy of movies based on the series directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
