Two sharp-edged blades carved from the obsidian-hued stone of Odari's deepest quarries, the segments are linked together to form an X using a wrought iron hinge device. With a swift movement, an Odarite can snap the segments apart and use the blades independently. The weapon was developed by members of the Odarite Merchants Guild for defense - particularly for close quarters combat against boarders.
