Lieutenant Ginny Crandall was a Human Starfleet officer during the late 2280s. In 2286, Crandall was stationed aboard the USS Enterprise-A, and served at the defense station on the bridge. In this capacity, Crandall reported an ion storm heading towards the ship. She was also responsible for unknowingly escorting a Klingon agent after he came aboard the Enterprise. Her roommate aboard the ship was a Sezanian who was able to hear her communicator malfunctioning, even though Crandall herself could not. (TOS novel: Timetrap)
