Genetics complex, or Gene complexes, are research installations hidden throughout the Koprulu Sector. Build underground, within asteroids, and even in-between galaxies, it is nearly impossible to find all of them except by accident (Resident Evil: The Hive; Star Trek - Enterprise: Cold Station 12; Stargate - Atlantis: Midway space station). Because of this, Genetics complexes can house untold numbers of stasis cells full of research specimens gathered from across the Galaxy.
