Nibiru Xibalba was a Sithspawn creature that was made by the Sith inhabitants of Korriban, under guidance from some of the very first Dark Jedi. Nibiru was created with the single aim of destroying the galaxy, and end that the Dark Jedi feared. During an argument between a Dark Jedi and a Sith, a fight broke out, prompting the Nibiru War. Nibiru fought on the side of the Sith in this war and burned much of Korriban, leaving it a bleak wasteland. He then used his power to eradicate almost all life from the planet, sparing only those Sith or Dark Jedi most useful to him or who had hidden well enough to escape his gaze.
