Gerlis is a glowworm who crashes into a tree on Sesamstrasse in episode 2230. Her lamp is covered up with dirt so that she can't signal her friends. Finchen helps her clean up the lamp, but her friends don't reply to her glow until she and Finchen have sung a song.
