While leaving Master Yu's Earthbending Academy, Team Avatar overheard the two boys praising Earth Rumble VI as the best earthbending competition in the country. When the team asked about what it was and where it was held, the boys refused to tell them, proceeding to laugh cruelly at the group and walk off. Katara ran after the boys and came back with information about the tournament. When asked how, she replied, "A girl has her ways." As it turned out, she had left them scared, heads locked together and frozen up to their chins in ice.
