The Sith-Rakatan Empire, also called the Second Infinite Empire or simply the Empire was the Galactic government by 10,000 ABY having been in power for almost a thousand years. Incorporating most of the known galaxy, the new Empire was born from an alliance between the Sith and reformed Rakatan Empire.
